Dialog Darwin wins NT DHCS contract

Dialog has won the contract for the provision of a managed application service to the Northern Territory Department of Health and Community Services (DHCS) for the next three years. Dr Howard Jeffery , the Manager of Dialog’s NT Regional Office said “Dialog's strong presence in Darwin, industry development, and our commitment to the Northern Territory have been factors in the branch's success”.

The DHCS agreement is the largest managed application service contract issued under the NT Government's Non-Mainframe Panel arrangements. The value of the engagement is over $4.3 million. There is a provision under this contract for Dialog to deliver additional project and consulting services.

A team of Darwin-based consultants will be on site for the duration of the contract. The team will provide cover for a range of health and community services delivered to major centres, with a subset of these services delivered to remote communities. Applications have been developed in Oracle, Microsoft Access, Lotus Notes, and Jade Software.
