| ExtraGroup implements Microsoft Navision with Axiom |

WA-based recruitment company ExtraGroup has recently implemented Microsoft Navision Financials and Dialog's Navision Labour Hire Payroll. ExtraGroup went live with its new system in the first week of October. Within two days of going live with the new payroll and financial system, ExtraGroup successfully processed and paid 800 people without incident. Last year ExtraGroup made the decision to implement Microsoft Navision Financials and Dialog's Navision Labour Hire Payroll product integrated to AXiOM Release 2. This new system would provide them with a completely integrated seamless solution. ExtraGroup went live with its new system in the first week of October. Within two days of going live with the new payroll and financial system ExtraGroup successfully processed and paid 800 people without incident. Kerry Coleman of ExtraGroup's Extraman provided the following account of the upgrade. Extraman is a blue collar labour-hire company currently with six offices located in Queensland, the Northern Territory and WA, with the Head Office in Perth. Extraman was first introduced to Dialog’s Axiom HR in 1998 to furbish the company’s needs to have a database that captured its clients' requirements and its applicants' skills, details, and work history. Due to the growth of Extraman and the complexity of its employees' and clients' requirements, it was soon realised that Extraman needed a payroll package that would fulfil its needs. As Extraman was more than happy with Axiom HR and would prefer not to change to another HR package, it was decided that Navision was the way to go. Extraman had a three-day on-site analysis session with a Navision consultant to evaluate Extraman's processes and future requirements. A follow-up four-day training session, held at Dialog’s Sydney premises, proved to be more than beneficial for Extraman. Not only was it a training session, it was an opportunity for Dialog to guide Extraman on the set-up of the payroll system. After a number weeks of testing many different scenarios and also many new features not previously available, it was decided that it was time to go live. Scary!! It was necessary to upgrade Axiom HR to Axiom Recruiter@Work. After consultation between Dialog and Extraman, an implementation plan was devised. At the last minute an issue arose and it didn’t look like the upgrade and implementation was going to go to plan. However, due to the innovation and dedication of Dialog consultants, the upgrade progressed even at 11 o'clock at night. The database was upgraded and implemented relatively on time, with minimal downtime to users. The final touches to the Navision system were completed and Extraman could run their first payroll. With minimal glitches, Extraman was able to pay over 800 employees. The rest is history!! I cannot praise the consultants involved enough. They did an excellent job. Thank you! Extraman is now looking to improve its service to its clients and employees by utilising the facilities in Navision. The best move we ever made! |
