Suncorp

Dialog has a long and successful relationship with Suncorp even predating the existing corporate entity to organisations such as Metway Bank.

Suncorp has undertaken a review of its IT procurement processes and has adopted a new "Selected Partnering" model.

Dialog has been engaged as a Partner to provide Applications Development and Maintenance Services within the Solutions Delivery Group.

The Service provides Solution Delivery with the broad range of technical skills necessary to maintain and enhance a large diversified portfolio of applications as well as meeting the high standard of service required under the Client Service Level Agreements.

Dialog is also a member of the Corporate Projects Division supplier panel. Corporate Projects Division is involved in projects that carry a high business risk and/or have a high dollar value.

Over our long term relationship with Suncorp and its precursors the roles played by dialog have included:

  • Project Management: Covering project planning and control, establishment of a project office with responsibility for maintenance of the overall schedule, management of project issues and communications aspects for organisational change management.
  • Team leading: Leadership of groups involved in business analysis and modelling supporting the complex integration of legacy and new applications.
  • Developing testing methodologies: with responsibility for the implementation and successful operation of an automated testing tool and environment.
  • Business Analysis: Experienced banking systems business analysts undertook the specification and design of the systems integration procedures and applications.
  • Applications Development: Dialog provides banking systems developers to augment Suncorp’s own team.
