Dialog's Innovation Factory officially opened
In August 2017, Dialog Information Technology officially opened a new software development IT services hub, entitled the Innovation Factory, which will create an additional 200 jobs in Melbourne.
Dialog’s new Innovation Factory provides expertise in areas including digital, accessibility, cyber security, cloud computing, virtual reality, robotics, mobile and analytics, boosting Victoria’s already strong digital technology export market of $3 billion annually.
The Innovation Factory supports Dialog’s national operations, boosting the Victorian workforce to more than 500 employees including 30 new graduate positions that will be filled with students from local universities.
Dialog will work closely with Victorian universities to attract graduates to the Innovation Factory, with the first 15 already cutting their teeth on coding.
Victoria's digital technology sector generates approximately $34 billion in revenue annually and employs around 160,000 people driving new digital technologies in industries across the Australian economy.
