Overview

Mirait Technologies Australia is a national telecommunications and ICT infrastructure construction and maintenance provider. The company operates from four offices covering the eastern seaboard of Australia, with over 130 staff and an extensive network of sub-contractors as it delivers on a national level.

The Problem

With a large contractor-based field service force, Mirait had problems with the allocation of jobs and the collection of job data. The existing paper-based process was inefficient and prone to human error, in particular around ensuring compliance with job standards.

The Solution

Dialog implemented a Field Management solution for Mirait based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and FieldOne. The solution has been customised to meet Mirait’s specific requirements and has a strong focus on ensuring compliance with standards for all fieldwork. The solution integrates with Microsoft SharePoint and has extensive mobile functionality with approximately 155 users, most of whom are field contractors.

Dialog subsequently migrated the solution to the Dynamics 365 for Field Services platform.

Outcome

The solution has won high praise from Mirait staff, field service staff and clients such as Telstra who commended the system as a best practice template for field services solutions.
