DIALOG'S SERVICES
Analysis
While drawing on the capabilities of the latest modelling techniques and documentation tools for support, Dialog’s analysts rely mainly on the great depth and breadth of their skills and experience.
The Dialog Business Analyst that worked for us was exceptional. His communication skills were brilliant and he was honest in his opinion, which was highly valued. – Dept of Health (NT)
Chosen for their business and commercial acumen as well as for their talent in dealing with people in what many may see as a stressful time, Dialog’s analysts are able to work with clients, ask the right questions and listen constructively to their responses. The picture is completed when the facts are assembled, analysed, organised, structured into the required document and presented to the customer as the basis for the design stage.
Dialog consultants are familiar with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) and call upon a range tools and techniques to undertake the analysis activities. These include:
- Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN)
- Event-driven Process Chains (EPC)
- Flowcharting
- Integration Definition – Function Modelling (IDEF0)
- Unified Modelling Language (UML)
Consultants also draw from Dialog’s SAGE knowledge-base which contains many tools and document templates such as Functional Requirement Specifications, Business Requirements Specifications and Business Process Model Visio stencils.
