Dialog Information Technology has been awarded an Excellence award for its Dialog Academy initiative.
The Dialog Academy has been running for 12 months and provides online and blended training courses to Dialog’s consultants. The courses cover technical skills and soft skills (e.g. presentation and writing skills). Content is sourced from SkillSoft and from within Dialog. The Dialog Academy also links to external online courses (e.g. Amazon Web Services).
The courses are aligned with Dialog’s Consultant Competency Model and integrated within Dialog’s Performance Review process.
The Excellence award was presented to Dialog at the recent ANZ SkillSoft Perspectives conference held in Sydney.
Rosie Caines, SkillSoft ANZ Regional Director said “In a short amount of time Dialog has created an highly effective learning platform which has strong executive support and high participation. Dialog has identified clear objectives and it is measuring the benefits very well. Internal surveys have shown a very high satisfaction rating with the Academy”.

A robust set of key performance indicators are measured to ensure the initiative delivers business value.
