Google Selects Dialog for Google Earth Pro Renewals
Google has selected Dialog Information Technology from amongst all the Australian New Zealand Premier Partners to manage the renewals process for the online Google Earth Pro licenses across Australia and New Zealand.
Heading the initiative is Google’s Australian Enterprise Channel Manager, Eric Johnsen. His vision is to expand the model into the Asia Pacific region initially, and eventually globally. "Google is expanding its focus towards its Enterprise Geospatial products in 2012, and this renewals initiative is a great opportunity to manage growth," said Mr Johnsen.
Dialog’s selection for the project was due to their significant exposure and presence in Australia and their capabilities in licensing services and offerings for over 30 years. Dialog's position on many procurement panels and standing offer arrangements across the ANZ corporate and public sectors, plus its ability to deliver on complex contractual requirements, provides for the procurement needs of many Australian and New Zealand organisations. As part of the model, Dialog will also provide customers with a nimble licensing provisioning service.
Dialog’s National Practice Manager for Google, Glenn Irvine, stated “Clients will now have increased service with local support options and the ability to talk to a support team in the ANZ time zones, with no loss of the responsiveness provided by the online service.”
